Fitting a 15 inch alloy wheel will not hamper the mileage of the car. The initial pick-up may drop a bit, which will be felt in heavy inclines with full load (not a usual scenario). However, it may void the warranty in case of any damage to wheel bearings etc. Also, changing the original specs of the car will give insurance companies a reason to reject accident claims. RTOs will also not clear the vehicle as 'fit' if the accident is reported by traffic police and the vehicle is impounded.
