@ Dillip | The AMT on Hyundai Santro offers a leisure experience. The shifts are slow and the shift logic also favours a laid back approach. So you need to go with the flow of traffic rather than darting for gaps. If you do try to push the pace, the Santro will chide you with a slow and slightly jerky shift and not much acceleration. Once you do start driving the Santro AMT the way it wants you to, you will be rewarded with a fairly smooth experience with very little head nod compared to the other AMTs. Moreover, the aftersales service would depend on the availability of service centers in your area. Hyundai has a vast service network and you should not face challenges with the aftersales.

Your group is highly reliable and your advices are highly professional and useful. Now I request you to guide me on following issues of Santro AMT. I have manual wagon r 2009 model. I frequently drive it from Mumbai to Pune. While driving I rarely use hand brakes which I find irritating. Rather I am more comfortable with the use of half clutch/brake combination on inclines. Now I am considering to purchase AMT hatchback. Can you advise if Santro AMT will give serious roll back problems while restarting from stationery position on city flyovers traffic jams and on inclines in Ghat section? Will frequent use of hand brake required? Because there are large number of flyovers in Mumbai/Pune where I stay and also Ghat sections, it is very important for me. I think such problems are not there in AMT ignis or wagon r may be due to less lazy engine. Secondly some people say that Santro wobbles or looses line while hard braking. Is it true?Seeking your valuable advice.
