I have an old SX4 ZXi that has OEM 16-inch alloys. I replaced my XL6 Alpha OEM 15-inch alloys with the larger wheels from my SX4, and then ran the XL6 for couple of days. There were no issues at all. However, Maruti informed me that upsizing the OEM 15-inch alloys will invalidate the XL6 warranty. So I had to revert back to those tiny 15-inch alloys. This is Maruti’s biggest blunder with otherwise good XL6.

Oh! Pained to hear you had to go back to R15. Not sure if your Maruti Nexa people gave you the right advise on this. I am being advised that only changes to electronics such as adding rear view camera or some other electronic add ons will invalidate the warranty. They were clear that tyres didn't void the the warranty

HI Sir, I own a Maruti XL6 Alpha with tyre size 185/65/R15. I want a plus 1 upsize and in a dilemma . Need your advice on the below options a) 195/60/R16 ( 2022 Facelift XL6 stock by OEM) : Deviation from 2020 model: 2.9%b) 205/55/R16 . Deviation from 2020 model 1.59%.I am mainly a city driver and monthly twice highway driver and fuel economy is one parameter. Kindly advice .

Suzuki has launched xl7 in Indonesia. It's the same with 7 seater and more than that it give 16 inch alloys. Same engine and other features. It's only gimmicks of Suzuki

Thanks for the response and if i plan to update to 16 inch wheels where can i get it done. please suggest the best places in town which is reliable.

BRO CAN you UPLOAD THE PICS OF XL6 WITH R16 WHEEL , because XL6 HAS ONLY ODD THE TYRE SIZE OTHERWISE THE CAR IS PERFECT.

To add to Sam's comment. XL7 has 195/16/60 tyres so there is an increase of 5 mm for the outer dia meter as well.
