Q. Does clutch need replacement after one Lakh kms - Amaze?

Not necessarily . the today's Honda amaze cars can give you a clutch life driving up to 1 Lac km . However it depends on the Actual driving conditions. Most of the city driving bumper bumper distance the driving is mostly in half clutch operation and hence it wears out fastly even before. I have an alto in which the clutch damaged in 55,000 Kms . In our amaze we have clocked about 40000 kms , so dar not faced any issue .it is because of the way we drive . Please note the clutch requires replacement when 1) if press accelerator even then also vehicle sound gives a rising beat but does not turn to speed , vehicle does not accelerate ,that is slippage happening , clutch will be very easy and soft , you will feel hard or easy in gear shifting . Hi, I have 2014 Amaze Diesel clocking 1,76,000 kms. Most of this is on highways & till now, no worries on clutch till now with God's blessings. I availed Honda's dealer services till 2018. Post that, this vehicle is serviced by a service garage. Proud to be owning an Amaze, that too a Diesel version. Of course, have replaced brake pads almost every 4-5 months religiously. Have a running of about 3000 kms per month.
