Yes compared to other brands like Maruti, Hyundai the cost of service is 30-40% more as the cost of the parts is also higher. Also note that ABS sensors and brake rotors are a common problem in this cars. In my case i replace ABS sensors twice per year.

Its seems to be a disingenuous replay from people,i have an experience of polo petrol service ,i paid only Rs 6548 for the first service .you need to service with 15000 km duration or once in every year which ever comes earlier.

Avg service costs between 9000 - 12000 each, after the initial but does depend on how you drive it. Maintenance definitely higher for VW & also depends on whether you refer to a diesel or petrol çoz the diesel is definitely more expensive to maintain. But its once a year/ 15,000 kms whatever is earlier ....

Maintenance cost is not high as service intervals are on 15000 kms and service charges overall is approx Rs 11500/- Which is less then Re 1/- other then this quality is high so whenever you get replaced any part may seem its costly others but quality costs . Overall its not a high maintenance car.

The maintenance cost of polo is too high, as the spare parts are so costaly including labour charges, service etc are to high compere to other companies.

I owned Polo for over 5yrs. Service cost is relatively higher, because spares are not made locally,but IMPORTED.However,if you strictly follow the instructions in the manual,parts rarely need replacement. You can opt for EXTENDED warranty to overcome this(high cost of spares).

Yes its high service nearly 10000rs for 1time and mostly if your car is under warranty if any part is defective it will cost very high in service station and outside market also the price is higher then other cars but definetly very gud car then swift i20 and others

VW cars do not need to service their cars untill 15k kms or 1yr whichever is earlier. The 1st service cost if everything is working fine, would cost you around 6-7k. considering the time period and intervals for servicing for other brands, this is still ok.

Depends on your driving habits. This is the third Polo I am driving since 2010 but apart from the annual maintenance I did not have any other issues.

If u drive safe , VW Polo is the best compact car you can buy. After sales service is impeccablly good and not expensive at all. riding comfort , build quality, engine performance, audio, features, safety.. are all its plus points.

It's quite hight , but my GT TSI is showing lot of problems lately , they say that cost of ownership has come down . Still I have not experienced it .
