@ Nikhil | All said and done. I have drove 1.5 ltr petrol engine ecosport for 12000 KMs (close of 5000 on highway and 7000 intra-city) In term of mileage its a big disappointment. Average mileage I Could get in intra-city traffic (Delhi NCR) is 8KPML. Whereason Highway (mainly NH-1), it is 10KMPL. Don't go with what company claims. If you average drive in a month is above 1000 kms, ecosport would cost you INR 2000 per month extra vis-a-vis competition (Honda WR-V, Breeza etc). In term of performance, it does well on highway but in city traffic at times it lag to pull off required torgue.

Good but it's a 3 cylinder with 120ps power without EcoBoost.. so you can imagine performance of a small engine with more power....in bs6 version..mileage claimed to be just above 15km per litre.

Its Ok. But i would have preferred one 1.5 ltr 4 cylinder petrol engine. Sometime power lag is felt in my 1.5 ltr 3 cylinder Titanium.

Good, refined engine. Powerful. But not very efficient. Expect 10-12kmpl with automatic.

Diesel would give around 12 to 13 kmpl in city and on highway it's 18 to 20 kmpl

After having driven locally 800 km my vehicle shows 10.8 . Experts say it will go up to 14 km after about 1500 km
