How is the service of tata nexon. Is it worth buying this car???

I bought nexon xma (automatic) petrol version on may 2019 at Delhi. I was afraid after sale service. But once I visit for first service my perception is changed. Believe me Tata has improved a lot. Free coffee and snacks given to me. One staff was assigned for my car related jobs. No unnecessary service Or charge taken. I am impressed with Tata after sale service improvement.

I brought a tata NEXON xz in August 2018. I was afraid of the quality of Tata vehicles and they lived up-to the reputation. My vehicle started having rust all over the car and when I spoke to the customer service executive he said the warranty period is closed. I never saw any vehicle having such rust, it looks like burned out skin... Overall I would say buying a tata vehicle is my biggest mistake

There are few issues in terms of servicing.Normal servicing they do it well. But if you take your car to them for any specific reason, they cant fox it.My Nexon's seat belt buckle of passenger seat makes noise. I have complained it many times but doesnt change.Its the same even now..I don't say they are bad mechanics but definitely they are not trained enough i think.

No yaar , TATA brand is one of the trusting brand not only in India but also in other countries especially Britain. The good point of TATA is power of engine, today TATA give super design and fantastic product,if we just looking at Nexon it was only car that achieve 5 star for safety.Today lakh of TATA cars are selling, people are trusting on TATA. The designers of TATA was well experienced and they also design the jaguar and land rover. So my friend you can buy TATA Nexon with out any doubt.

I am contemplating to buy used Nexon XZA+ Diesel AMT 2020 march regd car. even though it was regisitered in 2020, its still the old variant before facelift was launched in 2020. the car has run for 24000km. condition is very good with all loaded features being top end. my only thought is that the car is coming for 10.25lakhs, my mind is saying that I can get a new Nexon XMA petrol model for the same price. I am confused now.

Great seating comfort, Great steering, Great ride quality, Good sound system, Adequate performance, But mediocre mileage and automatic transmission. One of the best suv with excellent fuel economy comfort and power. ... Tata nexon is a spaceous and comfortable car.

You are sadly mistaken there sir and it is not Tata engineers who design Land Rover or Jaguar cars. Those companies were bought by Tata and that was not 2-3 yrs ago like most people think but more than a decade ago in 2008. Tata merged these companies into 1 in 2013, creating Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. I was committed to buying a Nexon and would have gone for the XZA+ Petrol variant but looking at the details and in the market I had to stop and think.I own a Tata Vista Quadrajet BSIV, Aura + limited edition. While the car engine is world class being the same fiat engine that powers the Swift,Dzire, Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, Fiat Lines, Punto, Aventura, Baleno, Manza, Zest, Bolt, and many other cars with Diesel Engines.I have had both good and bad experiences with the Car as i have seen some failures that i had never even heard of even though I have been driving for 22 years now and am the kind of person who knows as much about the car where minor issues are taken care of by myself.The reason I have forgotten the Nexon and given it a pass is because of a few reasons.It is highly over priced.The number of variants is just too much and they are configured quite stupidly where between a lower and a higher variant you will find somethings added to the higher version but also some features that the lower one has will be missing. Like the XZA+ doesn't have auto headlamps and auto wipers.The person at the dealer ship had told me that you cannot get any of these features added to a lower variant. I later found that to be untrue as i read about people who bought a lower version and got the dealer to add them on for cash.Tata has been known for bad services by people. I would say I did not experience bad service per se, i had another issue, the quality of parts and the prices were just absurd and the quality was bad. Two examples can be the power window switch and the ac controls which was Rs 1250 for the former and 3500 for the latter where neither of them had electronic components and were made of the worst plastic I have ever scene.That is a big concern because after buying a Nexon for 12 lakhs, if tomorrow i have to buy expensive and shitty?The last point is the fact that there are cars from 2019, XZA+ variant on sale for example there is one asking for RS.8.76 lakh. That kind of drop in price is the major reason for the decision.I will not buy a new Nexon, if at all, i might go with one of the used ones to atleast minimize my loss.

It is a wrong public perception and not true now a days. In last 4-5 years Tata has launched very good products. Nexon is a excellent offering which is safest car in its segment. It is also value for money product with class leading features. Service part has also improved much, which was a week point of Tata few years ago. I am owing Nexon for more than 1 year and fully satisfied. You may go for it without any hesitation.

Service is little bit poor as compare to maruti. When you will be visiting to workshop for service you will have to take some pain for telling any problem to the man there at all level.

I had bought few years back Nano car within two or three months time all four doors got rusted, when approached they changed three doors but not one because there was a very small scratch on it from outside but the door was completely rusted from inside and until now I didn't understand their logic
