I have been driving XL6 Alpha Automatic for 3 months now and close to 3000 kms (daily commute between Noida and Gurgaon, 5 days a week), and the trip computer is showing 16.5 kmpl as fuel economy. However, do remember that average speed on Delhi roads are ~40 kmph and that contributes to higher mileage. It may not be same case in other Indian cities.

That’s right. My automatic gives 8-9 kmpl in the city. The moment it gets a open stretch the mileage moves up. The TC does not like low speeds.
