    It depends on the system. Some locking and unlocking systems come with a default silent-locking and unlocking systems while some brands come with sound which is by customer's choice. Principle is same as reverse horn.

    I hope you are driving i20 Asta or i20 Active SX. There is no option to disable locking sound , But you can do this by pressing request sensor present in driver side door handle. Hope this helps.

    Use push button on the door handle.
