My swift petrol vxi was giving 20 to 21 kml on highway and 18.5 - 19 in city but from last 2 services KMPl has deteriorated and I am getting 17.9 on highway and 13-14 KMPl in city . This is actual KMPl recorded with data in tank full to tank full condition. Maruti dealers are no able to resolve the issue. Neve go for Maruti Petrol vehicles.

It is normal. The mileage will increase when you ride on long stretches and when you get used to the dynamics of the car. Shorter distances are not good for cars because engine doesn't get heated up to the optimum temperature.

Mileage depends on various factors...i drive a swift i easily get 20 kmpl in city and 25 kmpl on highways..no unnecessary acceleration and braking......max speed at 80 kmph...u will easily get the numbers i get....
