• Q. I have bought Tata Altroz, it's not been a month and I have drive it around 600 kms. The initial pickup of the car is very underrated. How can I improve the initial pickup?

Less pickup is very common with new engine, once the running-in period is crossed performance will be better. I have seen good improvement after first service by which time the vehicle had run close to 1000 kms. The petrol variant has a naturally aspirated engine, so some revving will be required to overcome shortage of torque at lower gears. A bit of extra throttle will put back smile in your face.Turbo engines don't have this low end torque issue.
