Q. I know everything "technical" about Octavia. So, the questions are only connected with service, maintenance costs and whether any failures or breakdowns have happened with regard to parts particularly like the fuel injectors etc or any of the fancy features not working or failing.

I have been driving Skids cars since 9 years and have not encountered any major expenses! It all depends on how carefully you take care of your baby! For eg., carefree driving can damage the suspension, bad fuel can clog the injectors and damage the engine! Ultimately, little luck is also required.....

I have done 60k on my skoda as on date. I had to change my AC compressor once. Skoda was asking around 60,000 for it. I got it done locally for 20000. Otherwise, normal service is around 15000 for every 15000 km. No major breakdowns till now.
