Dear friend, please do read about the rubber band effect first. Then please ask for a highway test ride and experience the rubber band effect yourself and decide whether to opt for a CVT or not. CVTs are very subjective in feel.If you are a person who likes to floor the accelerator for fun, then a CVT might disappoint you. But, if you are a person who want a smoother ride from point A to B, then opt for a CVTs. My brother owns a City CVT, I never heard him complaining about anything except for fuel economy.

Cvt isn't the best in the market . If you are light on the throttle it would be fine but if you full on it takes time to respond.

Honda City has CVT transmission which is very smoother than other auto transmission.
