How is the performance and mileage of brezza?

Performance- Milege AMT 15+ - Delhi and Manual might be not sure 16+ max so these are pretty good numbers considering notorious delhi traffic. Add two notches in tier 2 cities. Pickup is adequate- not beast but it does it job fairly well. You wont feel underpowered . quite practical and good and this i am saying after driving verna for good 7 years.AMT - GEARBOX IS THE REAL SURPRISE- Surpassing all expectations with its SMOOTH EXPERIENCE.

Vitara Brezza is powered by 1.3 liter turbocharged DDiS engine which develops 89 bhp of peak power and ample torque of 200 Nm. Engine offers good linear performance and pulls cleanly from low revs. This compact SUV has decent mid-range punch which makes it effortless at pulling and overtaking maneuvers on the highway. The gearbox is smooth and clutch is light. On hilly areas also Brezza performs quite well, its power and torque figure might sound less for a car of this size but Suzuki engineers have smartly kept the weight down which means the power to weight ratio isn’t too bad. There is also a very generous boot with 328 liters of boot space and the rear bench folds down to provide more if required.

Not really. Even 1.5 litre hondas coming with same 200 Nm torque.Its not powerful but not underpowered too. Power is adequate and responsive when it is required. Its cc may be less but it does it magic on the road and engine is Pretty good and refined as compared to Honda RVs and Ford or Mahindra

It claims 24kmpl but actually in real lofe condtion it gives between 15-17kmpl on normal driving condtions. The service cost seems chep in papaer but in gernal it cost 7-10k for normal service nd 12-15k in major serviceI am long term owner of brezza

Performance is great.And if you talk about mileage, than maruti Suzuki is known for better mileage. It's fully depends on the speed you drive at. I easily get a mileage of 30KMPL on highways at a constant speed of between 80 to 100KMPH on the top gear. I think this the best.

The engine has some turbo lag under 2000rpm. Post that it has a good, strong pick up.   Road test figures: 0-100kmph: 12.36s 30-80kmph (Third Gear): 8.58s 40-100kmph (Fourth Gear): 15.68s
