• Q. I wanted the best car under 9 lakhs on road price, so I selected Ford Freestyle, is this right a decision? Now, I am confused that which version I should buy petrol or diesel, because I can afford both and my daily driving is 50kms and I am being hesitative to buy diesel due to future government policies, so help me Zigwheels.

    If you are riding at least 50 km daily, your overall running will definitely be high with occasional long trips. I am not a fan of diesel engines. But still you may go for a diesel freestyle. Buy the top titanium plus version in diesel. This car is very good in diesel.

    But sir what about the future government policies for diesel cars ? And is Ford is a right decision because it has low resale value and the market share is also low so if company shutdown as an individual unit and do JV with Mahindra then also the resale value will affected more. So plz help me I m really confused.

    It's a good choice you have done, if you are driving more than 1500 Kms then buy diesel. There is no match to this car in diesel engine in its segment. If you are driving less then petrol would be better choice. Best luck
