The previous generation DZire was far better build although it was not at par with the other japanese and far away from the territory of the Germans The latest iteration of the DZire has the worst build quality!! You should refrain yourself from buying any Maruti vehicles if build quality is your major concern

The external body is impact resistant although its build quality is just about average (in-line with most of the other cars in this segment). For more safety and security features, we suggest you go for the higher variants (ZDi/ZDI+).

There is no structural difference between petrol and diesel.
