The Honda Amaze is powered by two BS6-compliant engine options: 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine develops 90PS of power and 110Nm of torque. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual or CVT. Meanwhile, the diesel is offered with the same transmission options. The manual variant develops 100PS and 200Nm, while the CVT puts out 80PS and 160Nm. Here to reduce noise and vibration the block stiffness has been increased, a new layer of damping material has been added on top of the head cover and there are new engine mounts too. Moreover, it will give you a good experience on hilly roads too and also fulfil its duties very well in city traffic and on highways also. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

We went to Kodaikanal from Palani which has steep hair pin bends in our new Honda Amaze 2020 (petrol - manual). It climbed without a hitch with 4 passengers and luggage. Quite a reliable vehicle. There was some difficulty in Kodaikanal on some steep inclines but with first gear we overcame it. Thanks to Honda

Feels underpowered at inclines in petrol version. You need to shift to lower gears including first. Overtaking becomes difficult in the hills.
