Ground clearance is 170 mm. Because of a longer wheel base than the City, there IS a tendency to scrape tall bumpers. But with a little caution and awareness, you can easily work around this.I have the 2012 generation civic manual version and it gives me 12.5 KMPL within the city. The new Civic gives somewhat lesser than that (some say between 9 and 13 KMPL). Definitely comfortable for short and long rides as well. But boot space is considerably less than City (430 L vs 510 L). The interiors as quite spacious though. The new City is also packed with features and also incorporates the lane watch camera. You should test drive the new City before taking your final call.

This is worth it but I would say this vehicle is for pleasure and good for long drive. It's not suitable for daily commute and even ground clearance is bit low. Considering Indian road breaker it would almost hit every breaker though the built is strong. If you are looking for daily commute, in my opinion don't go for it.
