Q. Is it worth to buy a Tata Nexon AMT petrol?

I am a nexon owner and I have both good and bad experiences. The goods: 1. Very robust. 2. Value for money 3. Comfortable for long drives 4. I drive in eco mode and occasionally switch to sports mode while over taking, so I get great mileage of 18+ kmpl in highways.The bads: 1. After sales service is not up to the mark 2. Software issues ( abs light shows up after hard braking, music system resets sometimes) 3. Door didn't lock twice, had to manually set the auto lock.Overall it's up to you what good you want and what bad you can live with

For sure, sir! I'd advice you to go with Diesel if you want 'getting pinned in the seat' experience.If not, the Petrol is a good engine. Just don't expect outright burst of performance and you'll be happy owner. It's refinement is brilliant. And on higher vevs, the engine note is gruff but I've come to like it.One more thing: You *might* have to struggle a bit with mileage but then I'd say that's the only con I've observed.

Nexon is a very good car. Very strong build quality, decent mileage and a lot of useful features. It's a turbo charged engine with AMT transmission. Initially for a few seconds there is a lag until the turbo gets activated. But after that it's a beast. The sports mode is next level performance. If you are an driving enthusiastic, you will really love the sports mode of Nexon. The only problem is Tata's customer service. Please expect worst customer experience from their dealers during sales and service. Minor software issues like false service due warning, false TPMS warning etc are there as well but those are manageable and hope Tata would fix them soon. Overall a great car
