Is Maruti Ciaz available in automatic transmission? @ ZigWheels

Q. I am confused between Ciaz Automatic Petrol vs Honda City CVT Petrol and Hyundai Verna Automatic (Petrol). Can you suggest the best buy for me, my majority of the drive is with-in city and around 50 kms per day?

With ciaz it'll be very pocket friendly if you can compromise on the features.But if you need power and features either go for the honda city or verna .My personal opinion would be verna.

Q. I want to know is Ciaz 2020 automatic gearbox is full automatic or it is outdated ?

Maruti Ciaz gets a 4-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox mated to a 1.5-litre petrol mild-hybrid powertrain that churns out 105PS and 138Nm. Overall, there isn't much to be said about this automatic transmission. It'll get the job done but isn't as competent as its CVT, DSG or torque converter-equipped rivals. Q. After drive I forget to lock the vehicle of my Ciaz Alpha diesel then it is not lock automatically after 60 second. So I want to ask a question that this lock feature is available or not?

You get a difference about 3000-4000 even more than that (depends on every dealer). But,if u plan to buy an aftermarket.he must be trusted one for sure or else he might be Ur friend.In such conditions u have way to go.But if u're a noob in it . I recommend u to go with dealer as safety as concerned

Q. I was planning to buy Verna, almost booked it. But now since Ciaz is launched, I am confused on which car to buy. Can you suggest which one to buy in terms of safety, features & functionalities, build quality, engine and power? I am focused more on safety aspect and features. I go for the petrol variant by the way.

Verna is a Good buy.Please prefer anniversary addition SX(o) trim .Verna , It offers best of all worlds .It won in fact heart of the all auto pundits .Many months it displaced city interns of sales sold till now about 50,000 +vehicles in the market . Now Ciaz leads in sales due to new 1.5 l engine and facelift version . Verna gives you best features in style ,comfort safety and offcourse it has best style . Powerwise it is superior due to its engine .it is a tough fight between Ciaz and Verna .In many strengths and corners you have Edge over Ciaz . Hyundai service is good enough . Rear seat space is one area Verna scores less. Since Ciaz is new and maruti's strong backup may help the brand now to surge ahead . Till now in C segment Maruti could not farewell, now Ciaz is made it . Verna is a best buy .nothing to worry. In safety aspects in our view Verna is far better than Ciaz..

Q. How good is ciaz if I take it for drive to hills. I mean I go on trip to the northern parts once in 3 months

I went to Manali with my ciaz. I have 2019 deisel top vairent. >> felt major powelags>> felt lack of ground clearance very much.>> going up hill was still okay. Speed was less.But going down hill, accidently a pot hole came and my car jumped over it, resulting in broken front right shauker.Over all very comfortable journey. Ciaz offered mileage of 22 throughout the highways and hills. Need to do sound insulation after the trip because the plastic started rattling from everywhere in the car. If you love your sedan, do not take it to such places. I didn't had option. If you have, go with a cheap car or an suv.

If you want lap of luxury with light interior I would prefer Ciaz, but, if you are willing to go with safety and companion feelings with each and every punch inside go with Verna as hyundai has one of the finest gearbox in this segment of cars.
