Both Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor are brilliant four-wheelers that offer a lot to their customers. However, selecting one would depend on your required features, budget, fuel type preference, and usage of the car. Honda offers the Amaze with two engine options: 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-liter diesel. Both are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard along with the option of a CVT. The petrol unit is good for 90PS and 110Nm whereas the diesel develops 100PS and 200Nm. The diesel CVT, however, produces slightly less power and torque (80PS/160Nm). On the other hand, Tata offers the Tigor with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine (86PS/113Nm) mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. Tata also offers a 5-speed AMT option. Honda Amaze would be a good option if you are looking for a comfortable compact sedan with refined and powerful engine options, smooth automatic options even with diesel and a spacious boot. Whereas, if you are looking for a stylish and affordable sub-4 meter sedan with a host of convenience features then the Tigor would be a better pick. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for the dealership.
