Yes, now its alot safer car, although we dont have any rating for the safety.But addition of AIRBAGS, ABS is a saviour in any emergency situations, it protects the occupants in any situation moreover maruti claims the platform is alot stronger than before. So overall makes is a safer car than before.Although the rear seat fixed headrest are not supportive but that should not be a deal breaker for you, although they are for me.
