Q. My 2018 Jeep Compass alarm keeps going off. Can it be disabled? It has happened three times in 2 weeks.

I had an issue of ABS and other warning lights blinking on the speedo console for my 2018 model Jeep Compass and warnings also to get hand brake and ABS serviced etc. I took it to the service centre and they said some malfunctioning chip needed replacement. Of course, being within warranty, they replaced (as they state??) free of cost. No details were given for the fault and some one casually stated that maybe some water would have gone in. I was quite surprised and asked them when the vehicle is meant for use through rough terrain etc, how can water from a wash create an issue. Anyway, no satisfactory reply. It got resolved for now.

What type of alarm are you getting? Can you please clarify?
