Q. Which is the best and cones in as first Honda BRV, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra Marazzo or Tata Nexon. Please advise me about variants as a petrol or diesel?

Comparing Honda BR-V and Mahindra Marazzo with Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon is an inappropriate comparison. One prime reason being former two as seven seaters where as latters are five seaters. Between, BR-V and Marazzo, BR-V offers more sedan-like comfort, while ground clearance and handling of an SUV. Marazzo on other hand is more MPV and has bigger space. But BR-V scores big on its efficient price point with available features and functions. I'm a BR-V owner for past three years and my satisfaction score is 5/5. I chose BR-V over Scorpio, XUV500 and last generation Innova. BR-Vs one great feature (if you are a petrol head) is availability of CVT with paddle shifters. On the other hand in five seaters, Nexon wins big time because of its modern design, 5 star safety score on Global NCAP and its features when compared to EcoSport. Nexon is the only car India with such a safety score. Features wise too Nexon carries a load of them and are quite competitive with facelifted EcoSport launched recently. On the fuel efficiency as well, Nexon is reportedly better off when weighed along side EcoSport.
