• Q. The mileage of my Jeep Compass is in between 10-12kmpl even after the second servicing. May i know the reason for poor mileage ?

    12 is normal if you are driving in higher rpm or driving for power pleasure. If you are able to accelerate and shift smoothly and slowly you will definite ly hit more than 14. I found driving at around 80-90KM/H at 1500 RPM gives the best mileage. Hope this helps.

    In city traffic 13-14 Kmpl is what I am getting too. But on highway, with average speed of 80 kmph I get nearly 17-18 and exceeding 100 kmph it drops to 16 kmpl. I drive a diesel variant with manual transmission.

    I WAS GETTING GOOD AVERAGE of 14 in City and 19.5 On LONG ROUTES BUT AFTER MY NEW CLUTCH GOT INSTALLED WITH GAD CYLINDER KIT, AVERAGE HAS DROP DOWN VERY DEEPLY TO 10.02 KMPLEASE LET ME KNOW GUYS WHAT WILL BE THE REASONS????
