The Nexon EV utilises Tata’s new Ziptron electric powertrain. The electric motor develops 129PS of power and 245Nm of torque. It draws power from a 30.2kWH battery pack and has an ARAI claimed range of 312km. The Nexon EV’s powertrain supports fast charging and is capable of juicing up from 0-80 per cent in an hour. Using a regular charger, it takes 8.5 hours for a 10-90 per cent battery recharge.
