Renault kwid is a entry level hatchback offered in 0.8L and 1.0L engines. It is having high ground clearance more thsn170 mm. SUV like robust looks segment leading space inner and boot space are the Attractive features with it . Ride quality is good . And as per statistics it sells over 4900 to 5500 vehicles per month this year .It is good sake. It is a entry level A segment vehicle. Now comes to Maruthi alto 800 selling 18000 vehicles per month this year. It is trusted proven reliable and highly fuel efficient affordable car of india . Service and spares are pocket friendly .Top end variant offers good features in safety of driver side air bag . If you have budget and want to try new off beat go for Kwid. If you trust the reputation go by alto way. Both are good cars .Alto makes overall cost of ownership to the best optimum .You will smile in the end

It is a very tough question. In my view Kwid is a trendy new off beat choice .Personally iam a big fan of alto, our alto after 13 years , is still in good condition even after it clocked 75000 km. .Renault kwid is like a entry level hatch back .It has a unique SUV like style, it has variants in 800 cc and 1000 cc. In what ever way you compare with respect to boot space, overall comfort, features ,AMT version etc.the kwid scores very high. Maruti alto is Alto.it is India's popular car . It is India's favorite.. if you have budget , want to try new go for kwid .If your choice is fuel efficient, reliable, easy to drive . Alto or Alto K10 amt is a proven one . In the summary alto is alto ..It is king of the segment

Both cars are excellent . Kwid looks like a micro USB with high ground clearance and many segment best features. .If you are in Urban you may try Kwid. Alto makes in all practical sense with best post sales service, spares cost, performance decent mileage and highly economical. Alto makes a practical entry level budget friendly car. Choose wisely

Alto is a true low budget car as it is fairly cheap in terms of maintenance and running costs offers far better safety than kwid because kwid is made mostly of plastic while alto has metal body which is good if a crash happens

Alto likely to be stopped due to non compliance of NCAP safety norms and will be reintroduced subsequently. Kwid std now comes with Airbag,ABS and belt reminders as standard feature without any extra cost. so go for only KWID

Alto800 is better as kwid has fibre body and cannot stand an accident alto can stand an accident upto 80kph with no fatalities and all basic requirements are fulfilled and then the service and resale are better for Maruti
