Although the steering is power-assisted in the HEXA, at low speeds, it requires quite an effort. This may be because of a number of mechanical factors including the steering geometry, the power-assistance mechanism etc. On the flip side, this heavy steering provides a lot of feedback on highways as it weighs up nicely. But agreed, Tata should have made it lighter for comfortable city driving.

^ I'd disagree with Shalender here. On the highway, there's a vagueness in the Hexa's steering while tracking straight. The steering feels slightly dead (read: no effect on front wheels even if there's a minor steering input). It's heavy enough to give you confidence. In terms of feedback, it's strictly average.
