Exciting new smart apps from Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz Smartphone and tablet applications have evolved in time only to serve its customers better, and it appears as though the German car maker is only getting started. Mercedes-Benz has just launched three new multimedia applications that while catering to people on the move, essentially perform three very different functions.

The first of these three new apps for Andoird and iphone users is the B-Class Guide App that offers customers an interactive overview of their new B-Class and instructions on its operation ahead of the delivery of the new vehicle. Animations and short films supplement the information in the user manual with guidance on the working of features such as the Collision Prevention Assist.

The second is the new SL Bodywork App inspired by the outstanding performance of the SL Roadster. It serves as a personal trainer for people on the move, and can put together a personalized programme of strength, stamina and balance exercises anytime, anywhere, simply by entering a few personal details such as age, height, weight, training focus and training level. 

To boost motivation, achievements are rewarded with personal badges, similar to those awarded by national sports federations. The B-Class guide is now available free of charge from App Store (for iPhones) and Google Play (for Android smart phones).

The third new comer is the Advantages App that has been developed for the exclusive use of the Mercedes-Benz sales staff.  It provides instant access to all product highlights and vehicle data on an iPad, for on-the-spot presentation to the customer. This enhances the ability of salespeople in the showroom or out in the field to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information in an accessible format for the customer.
