The purchase window for the Ola S1 began yesterday, and the company has reported sales of over 10,000 units of its entry-level offering within a day. The Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer had begun accepting bookings of the S1 for Rs 499 since its launch on August 15.
Additionally, starting today, Ola Electric has opened a purchase window for everyone, while still offering the introductory price of Rs 99,999. Deliveries for the early reserves of the S1 and the Khaki-coloured limited edition S1 Pro scooter will commence from September 7.
In addition to the above, Ola is also offering festive benefits worth Rs 5,500 on the Ola S1 Pro. As opposed to its elder sibling, the S1 gets a lower claimed range of 141 km and a slower top speed of 95kmph. Click here for all the differences between the S1 and S1 Pro.
Additionally, in a bid to improve ownership experience, Ola Electric has started offering an optional five-year extended warranty program, available for both new and existing owners. Additionally, the company plans on installing 100 Hyperchargers across 50 cities in the country by Diwali.
