The Nexon EV is one of the most popular electric SUV choices among the Indian buyers. That being said, Tata has now gone a step further and launched the Curvv EV with a SUV-coupe design and some other additions over the Nexon EV, including more features and additional range.
However, these additions come at a steeper price and in this article we are going to find out if it’s worth paying the premium.

That being said, the Curvv EV also gets a significantly larger boot space!
Both Curvv EV and Nexon EV have a similar cabin, with the same dashboard design and layout. However, in the Curvv EV, you get an ambient light strip that runs across the dash and a four-spoke steering wheel borrowed from the larger Harrier SUV. Let’s take a look at the features list:

From the table above, we can conclude that the Curvv EV should be your pick if you want a vehicle with a longer range, more power and slightly better performance. That being said, the Nexon EV has enough performance for all your commuting needs and more as well.
Do note that the Curvv EV is based on Tata’s Acti.ev platform, which is a dedicated platform for its new EVs. The Nexon EV on the other hand, is based on the same platform as its ICE counterpart.
Both Tata Curvv EV and Nexon EV are well-equipped SUVs in terms of features, and offer a good package if you are in the market for a compact EV. However, the Curvv EV would be our pick here, since it gets extra features adding to the premiumness factor, larger battery packs which means you will have to worry less about the range during longer journeys and also a much more attractive-looking SUV, thanks to its sloping roofline and coupe design. It would be safe to say that the Curvv EV is worth the premium you pay. But if you can’t afford the premium, you won’t really go wrong with the Nexon EV as well.
Let us know your thoughts as well, and which SUV you would pick? And why?
