The Tata Curvv has been a trending model in the Indian car domain for quite some time now and enthusiasts have been keen on knowing how the production-spec looks like. Well, Tata has finally showcased the exterior design of the Curvv EV alongside its ICE counterpart, and we expect the Indian carmaker to reveal its interior before its launch on August 7. But before that gets revealed, let’s have a closer look at the exterior design:
Taking a first look at the Curvv EV will leave you amazed, and some might even take it as a concept vehicle. Its unique looks are courtesy of its SUV-coupe design, which makes it look like a rendition of a “baby Urus”. The common man will definitely take time to get used to seeing the design on the road. Even though there is uniqueness, it shares many design elements from other Tata cars like the Nexon and Harrier SUVs.
The front features a sleek LED DRL which runs across the width of the bonnet. It gets aggressively styled bumpers, which help in further enhancing the design. Being an EV, it gets a closed-off grille and its charging port is found right in the centre of its nose, behind the Tata badge.
Moving to the sides, you first notice the sloping roofline which catches your attention instantly. The Tata SUV sits on aerodynamic alloys, which further helps to set it apart from its ICE counterpart. But just like the ICE Curvv, this too gets a good dose of ruggedness, thanks to big wheel arches and chunky side cladding.

The rear gets connected LED tail lamps that are sleek and run across the boot lid. Its stance is tall, which makes the SUV look big. For some sporty touch, you get a shark fin antenna and small roof-mounted twin spoiler. The lower-end of the bumper is finished in piano black, and gets Silver finish at the bottom which adds contrast to the look.
Tata hasn’t revealed the interior of the Curvv EV. but expected Features onboard include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital-driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, a dual-zone climate control, cruise control, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, a branded audio system, and multi-colour ambient lighting.
The safety features should include six airbags as standard across all variants, along with ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, hill hold and hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system and suite of ADAS features.
The Curvv EV will likely be available with 2 powertrain options: Standard Range and Long Range. It is expected to offer a claimed range of up to 500km.
When launched on August 7, the Tata Curvv EV could be priced from Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the MG ZS EV, lower variants of the BYD Atto 3 and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV. It will also be an EV alternative to SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
