Quick Highlights:
- The new Chetak Blue 3202 costs Rs 1,15,018 (ex-showroom, Bangalore)
- It has the same 3.2kWh battery but higher claimed range of 137km
- Gets the same underpinnings as the Urbane variant which it replaces
Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 has been launched for Rs 1,15,018 (ex-showroom, Banglore). It is the Urbane variant renamed and gets more range because of the updated cells in the battery pack, despite having the same capacity.
The Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 replaces the Urbane variant and costs Rs 8,301 less. The claimed range has increased to 137km, up from the previous 126km, due to the new cells in the 3202 variant.
The charging time remains unchanged, taking 5 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge with the 650W off-board charger.
The Chetak’s body is made of metal, unlike many other electric scooters. It looks reminiscent of the old ICE Chetak. It also has some useful features like a hidden hook for your bag and sleek mirrors. The scooter's buttons and switches feel good to touch, and the metal around the headlight looks nice. The Chetak 3202 is available in four colours: blue, white, black, and grey.
In terms of features, the Chetak Blue 3202 retains the same list such as the colour LCD display, off-board charger, keyless ignition, hill hold assist, reverse mode, key fob and the same battery capacity from the Urbane variant. The optional TecPac package, priced at Rs 5,000, adds extra features like a colour TFT display, sports mode, increased top speed of 73kmph over the standard 63kmph, Bluetooth connectivity, hill-hold, and reverse functionality.
The Chetak gets a trailing link front suspension, a monoshock on the rear, and 12-inch alloy wheels shod with MRF Zapper tyres. It gets a disc brake up front and a drum brake at the rear on the Premium and the 3201 SE variant, while the 3202 and the 2903 get only drum brakes on both wheels.
The Chetak is available in three more variants; Chetak 2903 priced from Rs 99,998, Chetak 3201 SE from Rs 1,28,744 and the Chetak Premium 2024 from Rs 1,47,243. All the prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Bangalore including EMPS 2024 Electric Mobility Promotional Scheme).
The Chetak 3202 competes against the likes of Ather Rizta, Hero Vida V1 Plus, TVS iQube and the Ola S1 Pro.
