BYD Atto 3 special edition launched at Rs 34.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Features a new Green hue with blacked out door handles.
No features, styling or powertrain revisions.
Limited to 1,200 units.
Asks a premium of Rs 50,000 over the standard model.
BYD has used the Auto Expo to reveal a special edition for the Atto 3 electric SUV alongside its Seal electric sedan. The special edition is a limited one with only 1,200 units on offer. Priced at Rs 34.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the it carries a steeper price tag in comparison to the Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom) asking price for the standard EV.
Honestly, not much. What BYD has done basically is introduce a new Green shade to the Atto’s colour palette with black door handles and call it a day. The new hue is an addition to the already existing four shades that can be had for the Atto 3, which include Ski White, Parkour Red, Boulder Grey, and Surf Blue.
The special edition brings no change to the design or even the features list of the SUV. Offered in a single trim, the Atto 3 continues with the 204PS electric motor that is teamed with a 60kWh battery pack. Its Blade battery pack boasts an ARAI-claimed range of 521km and supports fast charging speeds of up to 80kW. Everything else on the electric SUV can be found in our in-depth image gallery.

With prices ranging between Rs 33.99 lakh and Rs 34.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the Atto 3 is a more premium alternative to the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric. The Atto 3 is BYD’s second offering in the country after the E6 MPV.
