BYD Sealion 6 Plug-in Hybrid Showcased At The Auto Expo 2025!

BYD is known for its battery technology and top-notch innovations in the EV department, and the popular carmaker has already launched plenty of promising EVs in the last few years in India. This time around, BYD has showcased its plug-in hybrid Sealion 6 SUV which is available in the global markets currently, and might be launched sometime later in India.  Here are all of its details: 

Design

The design of the Sealion 6 looks sharp and premium. It gets horizontal design elements up front and sleek headlights which go well with the aggressively styled bumper. The alloy wheel features a striking design and the silhouette looks like that of conventionally styled mid-size SUV. 

At the rear, a sharp look with sleek LED tail lights, and sporty elements like a roof-mounted spoiler and shark fin antenna. 

Features

The BYD Sealion 6 comes with a lot of high-end features such as a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen that offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated and heated front seats, and a 10-speaker Infinity audio system. It also gets a digital key, keyless entry and keyless start, dual wireless phone chargers and a panoramic sunroof. 

Safety features include 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS features like collision mitigation assist and adaptive cruise control.

Powertrain 

The version of the Sealion 6 that has been showcased in India gets a 1.5-litre plug-in-hybrid turbo-petrol engine with AWD system. It makes 323.5 PS and offers a claimed range of up to 1092 km!
