The Mahindra BE 6e is available in five monotone exterior hues.
It sports sharp wedge-like cuts in its styling, a new illuminated BE logo and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, it boasts of a fighter-jet inspired cockpit like cabin with a multifunctional centre console and ambient lights.
Top features include dual screen setup, illuminated glass roof and 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
It gets a 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 500 km+.
Introductory prices start from Rs 18.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Mahindra BE 6e has brought a whole new design philosophy, carrying the carmaker’s new ‘Born Electric’ brand identity. This all electric SUV sports a distinctive design, unlike anything witnessed here on the Indian roads till date. What adds to its unique look is its short and sweet colour palette, which offers a mix of five monotone colour options.
The car will be on display at showrooms from January 2025 onwards so if you’re keen on getting this stylish electric SUV later on, here is an overview of all its colour options in detail:
This beige hue with a bit of shine looks quite sophisticated, and the robust black outlines provided by the piano black body cladding and blacked front grille add great contrast. So to say, it does look futuristic in this paint.
The ‘you-can’t-go-wrong-with’ white body paint adds to the elegance of the rather sharp and muscular-looking compact SUV. The presence of black finishes all around adds a perfect blend of ruggedness to the SUV.
The red shade in the BE 6e, unlike in many other cars, is not as vibrant and bright, hence giving the car a balanced look between sportiness and premiumness.
Well, Mahindra has kept this punchy orange colour to do the job for its flamboyance. It is the brightest shade in the palette, and its vibrancy is sure to catch eyes when running on the roads. It does look 6e as it sounds.
Only if you want your BE 6e to look absolutely sinister, the all-black colour option is here to make the SUV look meaner than anything.
The Mahindra BE 6e comes with two battery pack options: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh unit. The single motor rear-wheel drivetrain is capable of producing up to 286 PS (with the 79kWh) and 380 Nm. It also boasts an impressive MIDC-claimed range of 682 km. You can check out its detailed range and battery specifications explained in this story.
As for features, the cockpit-like interior of the BE 6e is packed with modern amenities, including a large dual-screen setup, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, two wireless phone chargers, an illuminated glass roof, multi-color ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, connected car tech, push-button start/stop, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Safety features include six airbags, an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera, and a Level-2 ADAS suite.
The Mahindra BE 6e is priced at an introductory tag of Rs 18.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Full prices are to follow later on.
