Tata has launched the Curvv EV on our shores from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom).It gets an appealing and eye-catching design that makes it stand out from other conventionally styled SUVS. The Tata Curvv EV gets a plethora of features such as, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital-driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, a 320W 9-speaker JBL audio system, powered tailgate with gesture control, powered driver’s seats, and multi-colour ambient lighting.
Its safety kit includes six airbags as standard across all variants, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control,a tyre pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, hill hold and hill start assist, and a suite of Level-2 ADAS features.
The Curvv EV is available in 2 battery pack options: a 45 (Medium Range) and a 55 (Long Range). Both 45 and 55 kWh battery packs are paired with the same electric motor, but produce 150 PS and 167 PS, respectively. A claimed range of up to 585 km is offered and you can expect it to do around 420km in the real world depending on the battery pack you pick.
The Tata Curvv EV’s prices range from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400, lower variants of the BYD Atto 3 and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki eVX. It proves to be an electric alternative to SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
