GT Force Launches 2 New Electric Scooters In India

Indian electric vehicle startup GT Force has launched two new electric scooters, GT Soul and GT One, priced at Rs 49,996 and Rs 59,800 (ex-showroom India) respectively. Both are categorised as slow-speed, aimed at offering short-distance travel solutions with a top speed of 25kmph.
Both the GT Soul and GT One feature a tubular frame, and offer an option of either a 48V 24Ah lead-acid or 48V28Ah lithium-ion battery pack, with a range of 50-60km and 60-65km on a single charge respectively. These battery options are paired to a BLDC hub motor.
Both scooters are equipped with a range of features like central locking with an anti-theft alarm, parking mode and reverse mode. They come with an 18-month motor warranty, one-year lead battery warranty, and a three-year lithium-ion battery warranty.
The GT Soul tips the scales at a mere 95kg, and offers a claimed load-carrying capacity of 130kg. Seat height stands at 760mm, while it has a 185mm ground clearance. It is available in four colour options, namely red, black, white and silver.
The GT One, on the other hand, has a load-carrying capacity of 140kg, a seat height of 725mm, and a ground clearance of 155mm. It gets additional features like mobile charging and cruise control. It, too, gets four colour options - matte red, black, white and silver.

GT Force has started its operations with manufacturing units in Manesar (Haryana) which has a claimed monthly production capacity of 5000 units. The company also claims to have expanded its distributor network to 80 cities, clocking over 100 dealerships for a strong presence in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.
