Ola Electric had earlier stated that it would install 100 hyperchargers in 50 cities by Diwali, and now that we have concluded celebrating the festival of lights, we try to find out if the Bengaluru-based manufacturer has delivered.
A quick glance at the Ola website reveals all the locations of the hyperchargers it has set up around the country. After a quick count, this number adds up to a total of 50 hyperchargers in 13 States and three Union Territories. Hyderabad currently ranks as the city with the most hyperchargers – five – while Ola’s base city, Bengaluru, gets only two.
The map also reveals locations where Ola intends on setting up hyperchargers, so expect this number to quickly rise. The company, earlier in December 2021, had talked about installing more than 4000 points throughout 2022.
The company has moved away from its offline-only mode by setting up experience centres around the country in an attempt to boost sales. It is targeting to open over 200 such centres by March 2023. Fast-charging capabilities on the Ola S1 range have been unlocked by MoveOS 3. In addition to this, here’s what else the latest OTA update from Ola brings.
