Creta Electric: Positive And Negatives

The Creta is a well-packaged SUV overall, and there is hardly anything wrong with it. But if you take a nerd’s perspective and want to know about some of its negatives, next to the many positives, here’s a detailed look:

PROS

CONS

  • Gets a modern and appealing design, with EV-specific elements such as a closed-off grille, and aerodynamic wheels

  • Offers plenty in the performance department, especially with the larger battery pack!

  • Enough cabin space and a comfortable 5-seater SUV

  • Loaded with premium features (more than the Creta ICE) - Panoramic sunroof & 10.25-inch touchscreen & dual-zone climate control & ventilated front seats and much more!

  • Gets 6 airbags right from the base variant, and also packs safety amenities like a 360-degree camera and Level-2 ADAS

  • Gets an impressive claimed range, especially with the larger battery pack option

  • Yes, the design is good, but it also looks too similar to the Creta ICE!

  • Shallow boot makes placing two or more full-sized suitcases difficult

  • Misses out on the option of 18-inch alloy wheels like the Creta N-Line

  • Infotainment is not compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

  • Misses out on Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) which its chief rival (Curvv EV) gets

  • The lighter interior cabin theme looks premium but will be difficult to maintain
