The Creta Electric comes with two battery pack options, while the ZS EV gets a single battery pack.
The Creta Electric’s Long Range comes with the largest battery pack and also offers the greatest range. However, the difference is not a lot.
The ZS EV makes slightly more power than the Long Range Creta.
The top-spec electric Creta is quicker (by 0.6 seconds) than the ZS EV!
Fast charging times are comparable.
The MG ZS EV has proved that it's a great all-round package, as it packs a well-equipped cabin, has an impressive claimed range and offers plenty in terms of performance. However, it has not received a facelift since it was launched back in 2019. On the other hand, we have the upcoming Creta Electric which aims to follow in the footsteps of its ICE counterpart and dominate its respective segment. The Creta already has the upper edge in terms of being the quicker SUV and with a slightly greater claimed range. In terms of features too the Creta Electric excels as it gets some extra premium features.
While the final confusion comes down to the Creta EV’s pricing which will be announced in the coming weeks, the electric Creta seems to be a more complete package in every aspect when put side-by-side with the MG ZS EV. That being said, the ZS EV is also a great SUV in the segment, and you won't really go wrong if you pick it.
Both these SUVs compete against the Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6 and the upcoming Maruti e Vitara.
Which SUV would you pick and why? Let us know in the comments.
