(Hero Vida V1 e-scooter launched in India at Rs 1,45,000, ex-showroom Delhi. Head here for the launch report.)
A spy shot of a new Hero scooter has been trending on the Internet and has put the auto world into a frenzy over what it could be. Contrary to what most publications believe, the test mule is not the upcoming Hero Maestro Xoom 110 and is likely to be the all-new Hero Vida electric scooter.
While there isn’t much to gather from the spy shots, the rear body design and taillight unit of the test mule is starkly different from the Maestro Xoom 110 that was spotted earlier.
When looked closely, you can count the similarities between the test mule and the Vida e-scooter – especially the boxy rear design, commuter-style grab rail and the massive gap between the seat and the taillight.
The Maestro Xoom 110, on the other hand, gets a sportier and sharper design along with an X-shaped taillight. Interested in knowing what the Xoom 110 has to offer? Head here. Apart from that, Hero has filed a trademark application for the Maestro Xoom 110 moniker as well. Check the image below.
If not the Hero Vida e-scooter, the test mule is likely to be an updated variant of the Pleasure Plus. That said, we put our money on it being the new e-scooter considering that it will be launched on October 7, only a couple of weeks away, making the timing quite convenient.
