Isuzu D-Max BEV

Isuzu has unveiled the all-electric D-Max pickup truck, its first battery-electric vehicle (BEV) based on the D-Max V Cross at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show (From March 27 to April 7, 2024). In this article we take a closer look at all the exterior design elements of the Isuzu D-Max BEV Concept in 5 images.

Isuzu D-Max BEV

At first glance, the Isuzu D-Max BEV isn’t radically different from its internal combustion engine (ICE) version. It has retained its extra large and curvy proportions, but here with a more streamlined design. The Isuzu D-Max BEV features blue highlights and a revised snout with a covered grille for improved aerodynamics. The headlamp units have undergone revision too, with what looks like an all-LED unit with sharper DRLs and fog lamp units housed below.

No prominent changes from the sides too. The ICE-powered D-Max and the dual-cab use the same remaining bodywork, but the profile has "EV Concept" emblems and a new design for the dual-tone alloy wheels. An integrated foot-step can also be seen on the display car.

The back hasn’t undergone any major changes either. What looks different, though, are the bumpers which now have a much sleeker design. The tail lamps retain similar positioning, but with LED inlays in a different design. The rear reversing camera can be seen positioned higher up next to the boot-lid handle.

Isuzu D-Max BEV Spare wheel

Just like its ICE-powered siblings, the D-Max BEV Concept gets a full-size spare wheel mounted below the payload bay.
