The XEV 9e scored a flawless 32/32 in Adult Occupant Protection, demonstrating excellent safety performance across crash scenarios. In frontal crash tests, protection for the driver's and passenger's head, chest, and lower limbs was rated good, with no weak or marginal areas detected. The side-impact tests revealed maximum protection, particularly with the inclusion of side curtain airbags as standard.

The SUV scored 45/49 in Child Occupant Protection, reflecting its child safety credentials.
