Mahindra's XUV400 Pro has just hit the market with a set of upgrades, combining style and functionality. One of the biggest updates for the electric SUV is its new interior and additional features, making it a much more worthy rival to the Tata Nexon EV. Priced at Rs 15.49 lakh, let's delve into the noteworthy features that contribute to the improved experience.
The XUV400 Pro introduces a visually striking Nebula Blue exterior, providing consumers with a fresh and appealing color choice.
With a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, the infotainment system is now much better, with slicker graphics. It also comes packing wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but will be introduced as an over-the-air (OTA) update down the road. You also get connected car tech with this new screen.

The 10.25-inch digital driver's display, lifted off from the XUV700, provides clear and concise driving information, adding a dash of modernity to the cabin. Not only that, it has multiple customisation options and even relays the navigation onto the screen
Offering a personalised touch, the XUV400 Pro features dual-zone climate control, allowing both the driver and front passenger to set individual temperature preferences.
Prioritising rear passenger comfort, the inclusion of dedicated rear AC vents ensure a more comfortable journey for those sitting in the back. Plus, the addition of a Type-C USB charger means you don’t have to rely on the front occupants to top up your device.
The XUV 400 Pro now gets a flat-bottom steering wheel which has been borrowed from the XUV700. It also gets copper coloured highlights to denote that this is an all-electric vehicle.
The interior receives a touch of elegance with the new black/beige dual-tone upholstery, elevating the overall aesthetics of the cabin. It also makes the cabin feel that much more spacious and well-lit than the outgoing model, which came with an all-black theme.
Introducing flexibility in choices, Mahindra is now offering the option of a base battery pack even with the top-end variant, providing consumers with a cost-effective option without sacrificing features. You can take a look at the specifications of the XUV400 here in our launch story.
