The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will soon be launched after it was officially unveiled at the Auto Expo 2025. As per a leaked source, the debut Maruti EV will likely be offered in three variants namely Delta, Zeta and Alpha. That said, the e Vitara could be very well packaged right from its entry-level variant, so much so that you’ll hardly notice much lack of features in it. Let's take a detailed look at what each of its variants offer when it comes to features:
The entry-level e Vitara can make a compelling case for itself, particularly considering it's very well-equipped right from the start. Here’s what the base Delta model packs:
LED headlights with LED DRLs
Automatic headlight
18-inch alloy wheels
Roof end spoiler
ORVM with indicator
Rain sensing wipers
10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment
10.25-inch multi-information display (MID)
Multi-colour ambient lighting
Fabric upholstery
Infinity premium sound system
Glovebox light
Front footwell light
Front armrest with storage
Front and rear USB A and USB C charging ports
Tilt and telescopic steering adjustment
Steering-mounted audio controls
Keyless entry
Push button start/stop
Automatic climate control with rear AC vents
Sliding and reclining rear seats
Auto-folding ORVMs
Rear centre armrest with cupholders
7 airbags

Front and rear parking sensors
Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
Electronic stability control (ESC)

When compared to the entry-level variant, the mid-spec Zeta gets just minor feature additions:
Wireless phone charger
Rear parking camera
The top-end trim adds a couple of premium feel-good features as well as the first for the brand – the ADAS suite.
Fog lights
Dual-tone colour options
10-way power adjustable driver seat
Semi-leatherette upholstery
Fixed glass roof
Ventilated front seats
Sub-woofer and IP speakers
360-degree camera
ADAS
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara prices are expected to start from Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be launched by March 2025. With that, it will rival the likes of MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv EV and Hyundai Creta Electric.
While the probable feature distribution might raise questions about the value jump between variants, Maruti has surely packed enough in the entry-level model to keep most customers satisfied. At the end of the day, it all boils down to whether those extra add-ons and advanced safety tech justify the premium. Let us know what you think in the comments.
