The MG Comet EV is set to be unveiled in India today (April 19, 2023). Ahead of the EV’s unveiling, it has been spied on public roads in a new bright green colour. The compact Comet EV will be MG’s second electric offering after the ZS EV.
New Green Colour Spied
The spied Comet EV test mule features a bright neon green paintwork that’s different from the standard colour options that were expected to be offered with the EV. The test mule spied is the two-door, four-seater version of the EV, which is the variant we are likely to see in India. Overseas, a smaller variant is also available.
MG Comet EV highlights
The Comet EV will get a well-loaded cabin with dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and driver’s display. Other notable features are keyless entry, hill-start assist, electric parking brake, connected car tech and automatic climate control.
MG is yet to reveal the Comet EV’s specification details. Overseas, the EV is offered with 17.3kWh and 26.7kWh battery pack offering ranges of up to 200km and 300km, respectively. It’s powered by a 41PS e-motor.
