MG will launch the Windsor EV on September 11, 2024.
The Windsor EV will be based on the carmaker’s ‘Aeroglide’ design language.
Features highlights will include a 15.6-inch touchscreen, a panoramic glass roof, and a fully digital driver’s display.
Likely to use the same 50.6 kWh battery pack as its international counterpart.
Expected to be priced from Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
As we are inching closer to the launch date of the MG Windsor EV, the automaker has been releasing new teasers that reveal additional details about its upcoming electric crossover. In the latest teaser, MG has showcased a few exterior design elements of the Windsor EV, offering us a glimpse of its silhouette, fascia, and rear-end.
We already know that the Windsor EV features a crossover body style, which MG is referring to as the ‘Aeroglide’ design in the latest teaser. The teaser also provides a glimpse of the front and rear ends, which appear identical to the Indonesian-spec version sold as the Cloud EV under the Wuling badge.
Up front, it gets connected LED DRLs with LED headlights placed below the DRLs, and at the rear, it gets connected LED tail lights. Even the design and size alloy wheels in this teaser looks identical to that of the Wuling Cloud EV, measuring 18-inch.

The interior layout of the Windsor EV will be similar to that of the Cloud EV, featuring all-black theme along with bronze and wooden inserts on the dashboard. One of the previous teasers of the Windsor EV showcased its rear seats upholstered in black leatherette finish. These seats can recline up to 135 degrees and come with a centre armrest.
MG has confirmed that the Windsor EV will get a large 15.6-inch touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display (probably an 8.8-inch unit), automatic AC, and a panoramic glass roof which is specific to the India-spec version of the Windsor EV.
Its safety kit could include 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking.
The Wuling Cloud EV sold in Indonesia features a 50.6 kWh battery pack mated to a 136 PS electric motor. The detailed specifications are as follows:

It also gets the option of a smaller 37.9 kWh battery pack in other markets which delivers a claimed range of 360 km. Note that the battery pack size and claimed range may vary for the India-spec model.
