The purchase window for the Ola S1 electric scooter, the brand’s entry-level offering based on the S1 Pro, is set to commence from September 1. Ola Electric launched the more affordable S1 on August 15 at Rs 99,999.
The e-scooter can be booked for Rs 499 and only the customers who have reserved the S1 beforehand will be able to buy it in the upcoming purchase window. Apart from that, the EV maker is also giving benefits worth Rs 5,500 – on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi – on the Ola S1 Pro.
As opposed to its elder sibling – the S1 Pro – the S1 gets a lower claimed range of 141 km and a slower top speed of 95kmph. You can head here to find out all the differences between the S1 and S1 Pro.
In related news, Ola Electric plans on installing 100 Hyperchargers across 50 cities in the country by Diwali. The EV maker is also offering a five-year extended warranty on the S1 and S1 Pro, even on the battery pack.
