The Skoda Vision 7S concept has made its India debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The 3-row SUV previews the new design direction of the brand for its future battery-electric vehicles. When first revealed in August 2022, the Vision 7S also showcased Skoda’s new identity — a logo that comprises ‘Skoda‘ lettering instead of the traditional logo, which was recently seen on the new 2025 Enyaq.

Skoda Vision 7S Concept: Design

The Vision 7S concept introduces a new design language, dubbed ‘Modern Solid’ for the future Skoda models. This fresh design has already been applied to several all-electric cars, such as the Elroq and the new 2025 Enyaq.

Based on the Volkswagen Group’s electric-only MEB platform, the Vision 7S, in its concept form, features a muscular stance and sporty front end. Speaking of which, Skoda has given it a new solid piece to replace the conventional butterfly grille on its on-sale cars. For instance, the Elroq and 2025 Enyaq, with their new design language, feature a digital face (called Tech-Deck Face) that houses teensy-weensy lights and conceals sensors and radar for ADAS. The bonnet also shows off the brand’s new logo — the Skoda lettering.

Coming to the side profile, the Vision 7S concept has a slightly slanting roofline, subtle body cladding, and large dual-tone alloy wheels. The upright rear end of the electric SUV features sleek taillights and a roof-mounted spoiler. The highlight of the Vision 7S concept is its Rolls Royce-style suicide doors or coach doors.

Skoda Vision 7S Concept: Interior

The Vision 7S concept has a quirky interior. Although the layout of the cabin looks traditional, it features two modes: Drive and Relax. The former mode keeps the seating and dashboard in its standard position like any other road car. Whereas, the latter transforms the cabin comfort.

Put simply, the Relax mode slides the dashboard and touchscreen infotainment away from passengers, while the display rotates to landscape orientation to offer a good view of the display to rear-seat passengers. Moreover, the driver's and co-driver’s seats swivel inwards and recline. It is to be noted that the Relax can be activated only when the car is parked or being charged.

The Vision 7S also comes with a baby seat placed on top of a central spine that runs down the middle of the cabin from the lower centre console.

Skoda Vision 7S Concept: Features

The electric SUV is equipped with a 14.6-inch infotainment and an 8.8-inch driver’s display. Apart from that, it is expected to get numerous modern-day features, including a panoramic sunroof and ventilated/heated seats. The safety kit is likely to comprise multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.

Skoda Vision 7S Concept: Powertrain

The Vision 7S concept is powered by an 89 kWh battery pack that claims to offer a WLTP range of over 600 km. It supports DC charging capability of just under 200 kW. Other details are likely to be revealed as the car gets closer to production.

Skoda Vision 7S Concept: Market Launch

The production version of the electric SUV is expected to be unveiled globally by the end of this year with a market launch in Western markets in early 2026.

While the Vision 7S is in concept form at present, the production version of the electric SUV is expected to be unveiled sometime later this year with a global market launch in early 2026. Skoda might bring the Vision 7S to India following its global market launch. Expect the production-spec Vision 7S to carry a similar design inside and out, perhaps with multiple powertrain options and a larger battery pack.
